Bharats In Yogurt Sauce

1 1/2 cup green split peas, soaked
2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 pinch hing
1 pinch cayenne
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 ghee for frying

Drain peas & grind in a food processor, adding a few tb water. Add spices & mix. Heat ghee in a wok until very hot. Mould ground mixture into 3" patties. Gently place patties in hot ghee & cook until dark brown, about 10 minutes. Drain & set in a casserole dish. Preheat oven to 375F. In a bowl, combine yogurt, sour cream & water. Pour over bharats.
