Potato Masala
indian, potato, pudding
4 large potatoes (boiled)
2 large onions (chopped medium
1 size)
5 green chilies (slit long
1 stips .)
2 teaspoon channa dhal
1 inch ginger (finely
1 chopped)
1 salt to taste..
Heat oil, fry channa dhal until golden brown. add dash of hing and crackle mustard.
Saute onions and green chillies until golden brown.
Throw in a few (~4) cups of water; add ginger, salt, let cook for a while.
Mash potatoes and dump into above..and viola! Masala!
~ An accompaniment to DOSAI, CHAPATI etc.
