Chutney-Glazed Cheese Pate

6 oz cream cheese, softened
4 oz sharp cheddar cheese,
1 shredded
3 tablespoon dry sherry
3/4 teaspoon curry powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 scallions, both white and
1 green part finely sliced,
1 optional
1 chutney (i recommend
1 raffetto brand chut-nut)
1 sesame seed crackers or
1 wheat crackers
Combine the first five ingredients using a food processor. Spread cheese mixture 1/2 thick on a serving platter. (Spread the cheese in the shape of the platter for more attractive presentation; just make sure the depth is close to 1/2 thick.) Cover and chill until serving time.
At serving time, spread the top of the cheese with chutney. If desired, top with sliced scallions. Serve with crackers.
